What happens at a team building workshop or power hour?
We come along with 5-50 ukuleles, and have you and your colleagues or friends play a song or 3 within an hour.

What do we need?
All we need is a big table and enough chairs to seat everyone. A projector with sound is nice, but not essential.

How does it work?

We'll have you playing at least one song within an hour, promptly. You can use this as a lunchtime, Monday morning or Friday afternoon ice breaker. When you know how to play, we incorporate musical games to make you work as a team, or prepare yourselves for a video we can film or a performance to other people within your company.

We want more than an hour, do you do half or full day workshops?

Yes, in half a day you will learn to play, then play games, including team competitions, or you can choose to practice for longer to make a video or to perform to others outside of your team. Many stick with the inter-team challenges if you want to use it for a team building exercise to bond your team. In a full day, you can explore all of these options.

We normally go on an away day or doing a sports activity. Why should we consider using ukuleles as a team building exercise?

You have to listen to each other and work together to make music. As the ukulele is much easier than many instruments to play, it means you can make music in an hour. We encourage you to sing together too. (Don't worry, we can't sing either!) The whole effect will leave your staff smiling, laughing and singing or at the very least humming. Everyone can get involved.

We'd like to use it as part of the office party. Get our team playing, and perform to the rest of the company.

This is definitely possible!
