This course follows on from the advanced beginners course, covering more barre chords, picking and a little bit of basic theory. The class is held near to Borough/Southwark Stations. Course dates: 7, 14, 21, 28 January.

Learning to uke with Lorraine is one of the most fun and rewarding things I have done in ages and ages. Within an hour we were all confidently strumming and singing along (some better than others!) and with every week we added new songs. The group format really works: I made a few friends as well as adding The Cure, The Troggs, Disney and (inevitably!) George Formby to my party trick repertoire. Lorraine is patient and explains everything really well and thoroughly. Even the shyest amongst us ended up coming out of our shells and playing uke with panache. I can’t recommend her classes more.
