We like playing the ukulele whilst having social, responsible drink after work. What better place to do that than the pub? Ukulele playing is a little bit like pool in terms of confidence and oiling the wheels for singing. Be warned though! A few and your playing certainly improves, but have too many and you lose the ability to ace it. We choose friendly pubs that are off the beaten track. Not the kind of pub you'll find tourists in, so you'll know a nice new place to pop into when your class is finished. Usually pubs that are happy to make you a nice burger to go with your glass of wine or a real ale.
